the gladstone gallery is located in chelsea, new york’s safest, wealthiest, and most exclusive residential and art district in all of manhattan. the nypd 10th precinct, responsible for the majority of chelsea, records very low rates of violent crime both historically and in comparison to other parts of the city. due to the high density of luxury residences, expensive restaurants, and world-renowned galleries, the neighborhood is heavily frequented and well-monitored day and night. the streets around the art galleries, especially between 20th and 26th street, west of 10th avenue, are very busy during the day and evening with art enthusiasts, tourists, and locals. the gladstone gallery in chelsea operates two prestigious locations there, just a few minutes‘ walk from each other. the main building at 515 west 24th street features a striking architecture designed by annabelle selldorf, while another exhibition space is located at 530 west 21st street. both locations are situated in the westernmost part of chelsea, right near the popular high line park, where visitors can move about unconcerned at any time of day.

Die Gladstone Gallery befindet sich in Chelsea, New Yorks sicherstem, wohlhabendstem und exklusivstem Wohn- und Kunstviertel in ganz Manhattan. Das NYPD 10th Precinct, zuständig für den Großteil von Chelsea, verzeichnet im historischen Vergleich sowie im Vergleich zu anderen Stadtteilen sehr niedrige Gewaltdeliktraten. Durch die hohe Dichte an Luxusresidenzen, teuren Restaurants und weltbekannten Galerien ist das Viertel Tag und Nacht stark frequentiert und gut überwacht. Die Straßen rund um die Kunstgalerien, vor allem zwischen der 20th und 26th Street, westlich der 10th Avenue, sind tagsüber und abends sehr belebt von Kunstinteressierten, Touristen und Anwohnern. Die Gladstone Gallery in Chelsea betreibt dort zwei prestigeträchtige Standorte, die nur wenige Gehminuten voneinander entfernt liegen. Das Hauptgebäude in der 515 West 24th Street besticht durch eine markante, von Annabelle Selldorf entworfene Architektur, eine weitere Ausstellungsfläche befindet sich in der 530 West 21st Street.
